Essential storage

Supabase authentication cookies keep you signed in and support secure sign-in links. Their names begin with sb- and may be split into chunks. Session expiry is controlled by our authentication service; signing out removes your local session.

rmh_analytics_consent stores your analytics choice for 180 days. It is a first-party cookie. A local browser storage entry named rmh-consent-change contains a timestamp to tell other open tabs that you changed this choice.

Optional Datafast analytics

Only after you accept, we load Datafast to measure visits, traffic sources and purchase attribution. This can associate purchases with a visit. Rejecting analytics does not affect checkout.

Datafast uses first-party identifiers including datafast_visitor_id and datafast_session_id. Vendor retention and processing details are described in Datafast’s privacy documentation. We do not send account details through a separate identification call.

When you reject or withdraw, the tracker is not loaded, these two identifiers are removed, and new checkouts do not include them. Withdrawal reloads the page to stop the previously loaded tracker. It does not undo information already processed or remove attribution already attached to a previous order.

Automated crawler measurement

RentMyHype measures requests from known AI assistants, search engines and model-training crawlers on the server. This does not load browser JavaScript, create visitor cookies or track ordinary human traffic.

We send Datafast only the public domain and path requested and the crawler user agent needed for classification. Query strings, network addresses, referrers, cookies, authorization headers, request bodies and account information are removed. Private account, authentication, payment and workspace paths are excluded. Bot traffic measurement is separate from the optional browser analytics choice above.

Public audience summaries

When enabled, RentMyHype can show aggregate Datafast metrics: visitors active during the last ten minutes, all-time unique visitors, and country totals for the previous complete UTC day. A country appears only after at least ten recorded visitors. Public summaries never include visitor names, identifiers, individual page histories or precise locations, and analytics may not include every visit.

Nearby search

Only when you choose Near me, your browser asks for location permission. We round the coordinates to two decimal places before sending them to our server. The first-party rmh_nearby_area session cookie stores this approximate search area and radius for the explorer. It is unavailable to browser scripts, is not published or sent to Datafast, and is removed by Clear nearby or when the browser session ends. Browsers that restore sessions may retain session cookies; Clear nearby explicitly removes it.

Optional maps

On pages that display a map, Mapbox provides its map tiles and controls and receives requests from your browser. Creator pins use the approximate location the creator has chosen to publish, not the location of website visitors. You can browse the opportunity list without enabling device location.

Choices apply to this browser and device. Clearing cookies will make us ask again. Payment and authentication services may use essential storage when you use their features; analytics consent is not required to sign in or pay.
